Mr. Toulet buys a villa called 'Villa Toulet' in 1881. It's surrounded by a parc with pools, lawns, big trees and several buildings : two chalets, a dutch greenhouse and a house for the gardener.
This rough garden typically looks like second half of the XVIIIth century quaintness gardens. Mrs Marie-Philiberte Marquis redeems the whole domain in 1898 and demolishes all the builings. She erects a neo-gothic house called 'Loneliness Castle' wich gave its name to the area. It will never be changed, even after its donation to the french government, but the castle suffers from two fires in 1977 and 1978 and is left in ruins since then.
